Blue Springs Scout Reserve is the very first Scout Camp in Canada to have received SCENES (Scout Centres of Excellence for Nature, Environment, and Sustainability) accreditation by World Scouting. We have maintained this accreditation through our monthly event programming that incorporates environmental education and action for environmental protection. Our operations team focus on best management practices for conservation especially around sensitive wetland areas. We look to further entrench our designation by exploring more programs and best practices that incorporate a sustainability.
